I’ve been a dad for over 20 years. It’s the best role I’ll ever play in my life. One of the biggest burdens is acceptance. Accepting the fact that my girls might never know how much I undyingly love them and how much of my fleeting conscious time is occupied with them in my mind and my heart while I’m at this post. One day they’ll know.
Beautiful sentiment! I suspect the girls will always know how much you love them. They may have to get a little older before they fully grasp it.
